Food service establishments involved were contacted and instructed on proper oil clean up procedures. The Uptown was instructed to apply oil-dri to the area. The owner of the bin, Darpro Solutions, was instructed to increase pumping frequency.

I contacted owner of oil recycling bin, Darpro Solutions. I spoke with Brian Breiltensten and requested that they increase the frequency of clean outs of the oil recycling bin. He agreed to increase the visits to every 2 months; they were previously every 4 months.

Some slick areas found near the oil recycling bin, but did not appear to be slick enough to cause a fall at this point. I spoke to Michael (Uptown Cafe) and he stated that on 3/9/15 it appeared some oil may have been spilled due to it being full and someone dumping oil in the bin. He stated other restaurants have used it in the past, but he's not sure who all uses it. He is putting a camera in the area. I instructed him to put some oil-dri absorbent on the area, although I do not think there is much oil left to be absorbed. I instructed him to never wash the oil to the storm drain. I contacted the Malibu Grill, Trojan Horse, and Farm and instructed them similarly. All 3 denied using the bin.

This needs to go to Tamara Roberts, Citizen states the parking lot located behind Farm/Uptown is covered in grease from the restaurants.
