Blocked Street:

Other: The Emeriti House at 1015 E. Atwater serves the retired faculty at IU. Currently the entrance to the alley behind the house is blocked off at Hawthorne for some minor resurfacing. Tomorrow, Fri 5/15, Faculty Ave will be resurfaced, so the entire access to the alley will be blocked off. I have two retired professors coming by tomorrow, one to pick up a very LARGE piece of art to transport to the Convention Center for a presentation. Emeriti House also has its art exhibit going on this month, as we do every year. Is this alley going to be open from the Hawthorne side by tomorrow morning? My professor must have access to the alley and our ramp for this piece of art. I would appreciate a quick reply so I can contact him about this. Also, in future, if the alley is being worked on or blocked, could someone please call me, as it impedes the traffic and our clientele, as most are retired and some use canes, etc. Thank you! Nat
