Ongoing bush trimming/maintenance will be required. Possible future repeat issue if not maintained.

Visited intersection. Bushes are trimmed so that they do not encroach over the sidewalk. Bushes were also substantially trimmed down in height. Sight distance is improved (NB looking west) but anticipate necessary ongoing maintenance to bushes. Due to vertical alignment of Atwater one can sufficiently see about 280' but presence of bushes does cause a portion of the sight triangle to be limited. This is absolved by a driver waiting a second or two for a possible vehicle in the hard to see spot to pass.

Carol Scheuer called (812) 339-3171. She began trimming the bushes. Due to weather she is concerned she may not complete the work in the 10 day request. She will keep me posted.

Visited the intersection with Dan Backler. A row of nice bushes blocks desired sight lines providing about 60' of intersection sight distance (NB looking west). The base of the bushes are on the property line. Home is for sale. Bushes are well maintained and act as property fence, privacy wall, etc.
