Other: I am a resident living in between the intersection of 8th and Dunn and 8th and Indiana. I recently graduated from the Kelley School of Business-- which is less than a 15 minute walk from my residence. I often had class or group/club meetings that left me walking home when it was dark out. Luckily, for the 10 minutes I walked on campus, I had a well-lit path. However, for the 5 minutes it took to walk down 8th street, I had to use my phone as a flashlight to guide my way; everyone I passed also had to do the same thing. I should have written a request a long time ago-- but I didn't and the point is simple. Please, add lighting to 8th street and the surrounding streets. Everyone deserves to feel safe, and adding lights is necessary, and quite frankly, overdue. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
