Area Swept

Hi Danna, I received this request for street sweeping today: I’ve recently noticed several hazards such as metal shards, pop cans, excessive sand from the winter, etc. in the bike lanes. Most recently, on third street between High and Henderson. I’m hoping the City might find some time or resources to send the street cleaner around to clean these. It is extremely dangerous when a rider must abruptly leave the bike lane and into traffic because of a hazard – especially when traffic expects the cyclist to be in the bicycle lane. Thanks. Julia H.
