Other: My question is about the lack of mowing in the middle of Sherwood Oaks Park. Is the plan for this park to make the old football field into woods? The trees in there are several years old now and beginning to shade the "trail" around the park. Shoudn't someone bush-hog this part of the park? One of the things I have always enjoyed about this park is the black raspberries that grow on the western side of the old field. The new trees in the middle are starting to shade this area, and soon those berries will fade away, as they prefer "edges" with sun to the east of them. The same sort of thing is happening in Olcott park, so I am guessing that this is part of your plan, but if it is not a real plan, can someone come and cut all that brush down? Thanks! Kim

Staff inspected site. It's been too wet to mow there but it is scheduled for next week.
