Bushes do not obstruct line of sight
Mr. Moulden, Thank you for submitting this uReport regarding Line of Sight at S Walnut St and Hoosier St. I recently visited this intersection in order to evaluate the sight distance. Based on my evaluation, the bushes on the northwest corner of this intersection do not obstruct the sight distance. A vehicle is required to initially stop in front of the stop bar, but is then allowed to pull forward in order to gain a better view (provided there are no conflicts with pedestrians in a crosswalk, etc). I found that vehicles should be able pull far enough forward to see past the bushes without coming too close to the southbound motor vehicles. Thank you again for submitting this uReport and please feel free to contact me with further questions or comments. [photo showing view also included]
Site visit - bushes do not currently obstruct sight distance when looking north from Hoosier.
