spoke to citizen, explained that there are already multiple signs approaching that crosswalk. told her I would ask street dept to update the speed limit signs but that it likely wouldn't have much effect on speed of vehicles. she asked that we keep the crossing in mind because no one stops for her. she ends up crossing further south where the road is more narrow.
