The design of this intersection didn't allow for side street detection and is on recall, causing the main line of traffic to stop. The Street Dept. would like to install detection in the very near future

Traffic Signals:
Other: This light turns red for the major thoroughfare (Patterson) almost every time I travel that road, despite the fact that there are NO cars coming from the other direction (Adams). I can't understand a light dedicated solely to a school and college apartments to the detriment of the main through traffic, especially when no one is sitting at the light. It needs to have road sensors, not be set to a timer.
