Other: The stormwater runoff inlets at the intersection of Parkway and Middle Court are insufficient to support the amount of stormwater runoff from the entire length of Parkway. This causes flooding at the intersection of Middle Court and Westwood. We need additional to increase the number inlets along the entire length of Parkway in order to alieviate this problem. Mr. Peden has been apprised of this problem. However, acquiring sufficient funding from the City has not been forthcoming.
We have completed the installation of the storm sewer along Middle Ct and Parkway. Improvements in stormwater collection should be noticeable and should help alleviate the problem. There is still some roll curb to be installed this week, but the stormsewer work is complete.
CBU crews are finishing up the installation of the storm sewer. They began 2 weeks ago. We are still waiting on the roll curb contract to be approved before the project can be completed.
The proposals for roll curb are in and we've also ordered the precast structures. We will be working with the legal dept to get the proper documentation to hire the curb contractor. We will get started as soon as the structures arrive. Estimated start date is May 16.
We are currently in the process of seeking proposals for the roll curb replacement over the new storm pipe we will be installing. Once we have these numbers we can move forward with obtaining funding for this work.
Reassigned to Phil..He indicated this is at a standstill for now. We don't currently have the funding for the roll curb needed at this location.
