Drainage or Runoff: Question
Phone Call: Ms Hammond left a voice message on 4/18/16 saying she has problems with storm sewer runoff in her backyard that has gotten much worse this year. She didn't know if the city could help because the storm sewer comes off The Stands Dr with a culvert that ends right in her back yard.

I went to look at the problem and Ms Hammond was there at the time. She has extensive erosion but I explained it was not the City's responsibility as it is in a back yard. I explained it's in a drainage and utility easement but that does not make it City responsibility. I told her I would check upstream flow to see if something has changed or is not functioning correctly and I suggested she try to get someone in with large rocks to help protect the banks.
