The property owner was contacted via email by Neil Kopper, then he called her, then a letter was sent by us, then more emails were by Neil. Neil sent the case to me. I called the owner twice and spoke with her once. We then set up a meeting at the owner's property and the obstruction was abated. I will contact the constituent via email to inform them of abatement and the case being closed.

Neil and I met with the property owner today about the obstruction. They had done more trimming since yesterday and line of sight was much improved. Neil further explained which area (East of her steps) was of most concern and what type (ground cover, grass, anything 6 inches high or less) of vegetation would be appropriate to use there. The owner will be relocating two day lily bunches that are currently to the east of the steps that still cause a slight obstruction. It was mentioned that in the future the area East of the owners front steps needed to be in the condition it is now with day lilies removed. If this is done it would eliminate any future line of sight obstructions for this location.

Still haven't heard back from the property owner from last week. I left another voicemail today asking to please call me back.

I left the property owner a voicemail today explaining I would like to meet at the location in person to discuss the obstruction and the best way to abate.

I contacted the property owner today via phone call. i asked for a timeline of when the rest of the wild flowers to the East of the steps could be trimmed. The property owner stated this week would work. I stated I would come by next Wednesday to check it out.

Will re-inspect intersection on or after 8/15/16

Visited site today and observed plants obstructing view. Sending notice letter to owner.
