Citizen was informed via email that property owner conducted sidewalk work without a permit.
Mayor Email: Hello, Yesterday (Tuesday, June 28, 2016) a new sidewalk was built next door at 1119 N. Lincoln Street. The left over concrete was dumped in the tree plot at the southeast corner of my lot at 1125 N. Lincoln Street. I would appreciate it if you could see that this problem is corrected. Thank you, Kevin Haggerty
Citizen was informed via email that property owner conducted sidewalk work without a permit.
Dan responded back to Mr. Haggerty and informed him that property owner did not get a permit for sidewalk work from the city.
Mr. Haggerty, Thank you for contacting the Department of Public Works regarding the concrete spill on the corner of your property. I contacted the Planning and Transportation Department to determine if a right of way excavation permit was issued for the sidewalk repair on your behalf yesterday. Dan Backler, Engineering Field Specialist, informed me this morning that the sidewalk repair work located 1119 N. Lincoln Street was done by the property owner. Mr. Backler is working with the property owner to get the concrete remnants removed. Again, thank you for your email and have a great day!
Contacted Dan in Planning and Transportation. He is working with the property owner at 1119 to get it cleaned up.
