A notive of violation was sent to the property owner about the line of sight obstruction. The property owner trimmed the bushes as requested. The line of sight obstruction is abated; line of sight at this location is now adequate.
I contacted the concerned citizen via email to keep them up to date about this issue and then to let them know it is fixed.

Received a phone call first thing this morning from the property owner. He stated he would be out there sometime this weekend to trim the bushes back. He realized it had been ten days from the date of the letter and wanted to make sure we knew he was planning on fixing the line of sight issue. Stated he typically makes sure it stays cut back but with all the rain it has been difficult. I will check the site next week sometime but I am quite sure it will be resolved quickly.

Reinspected sight today. Obstruction still exists. No action or response from property owners.
Will check with HAND for a phone number or other address for property owners.
