Can't fix immediately but hopefully in the future: There are processes in motion to address the Speed on Sare road traveling North or South via traffic commission and placing the Speed trailer in the near future. When the Speed and other concerns are addressed it should help the intersection. I spoke with the citizen (via phone call)to let her know what was happening. She is still concerned about the trees and grass that myself and the Engineers feel aren't an obstruction.She was delighted to hear there are other processes happening that may help with speed in the future.

I spoke with the Engineers about this location. Speed and grade seem to be causing the issue more than foliage. Sare road is already being discussed at Traffic Commission this month and Speed is one of the issues being addressed. I will also be putting in a request for the Speed trailer to be placed North of Spicewood heading South on Sare. The speed trailer has a list of places to go around town already in place so the time frame isn't yet determined.

Inspected this intersection yesterday. I found line of sight distance to be adequate. On a side note I felt the incline on Sare was possibly hindering the view of cars traveling South on Sare as most of the vehicles seemed to be traveling faster than the 30MPH posted speed limit which made the line of sight seem less than it really is. I left the concerned citizen a voicemail. I would like to discuss with the citizen the possibility that either the tree was already trimmed or that speeding is contributing to the issue more than an obstruction.
