Discussed w/customer their responsibility for storm water on private property. See comments.
Other: The drainage hole in the backyard between 4100 Bill Mallory Bld and 714 S Park Ridge Rd (Gentry Honours) is filled with mud and causing slow drainage and standing water. The drain appears to need a grate covering and possible rip rap to prevent debris from washing into the drain. The standing water which last for a couple days after rain is causing a mosquito infestation. It has become a health hazard. Please let me know how I should proceed. Thanks, Lacey McCoy 812-322-4125 714 S. Park Ridge Rd

I called Lacey McCoy and explained to her, based on the as-built, the drainage way behind her home was designed to be a surface drainage way, w/an easement, w/no underground piping. It's possible someone wanted a flatter back yard and installed an underground drain so they could fill in to have a flatter yard. This could even have been the building of the home when house was built. Also explained this drainage way is on private property and not maintained by the Utility. Suggested she might be able to have someone come in and snake it to open up a potential clog from dirt, grass and debris which may have collected in the pipe causing it to drain slowly.
