Other: Hi Park & Recs team! I wanted to file a complaint regarding trash from the softball teams that play at the Twin Lakes ball field. I live in the apartments behind those woods and often walk through that area. I think having the teams play there is great and I love watching them! However, after a night of playing the park is completely trashed with beer cars/boxes, wrappers and fast food bags. I love that they are having such a good time when they play but there are trash cans on the property that they are clearly not using and just basically making the area dirty for the rest of us. The picture attached is just a small amount I saw this morning, let alone the many other times throughout the summer that this has happened in and around the parking lot as well as the trails. Could we provide more trash cans for them? Or perhaps talk to the team captains about making an announcement. If that doesn't work and they can't clean up after themselves maybe sending a patrol officer to assist with cracking down on the tailgating. I would imagine it's illegal to drink alcohol in a public park but I'm not positive on the laws. Thanks so much for your help!
