Other: Hi, I have a request regarding the tennis court lights at Winslow sports park. Currently they come on some time between 8:15 and 8:30 pm. This leaves bit of a lag between dark and the lights coming on. Can you please change the time the lights come on so that this lag is eliminated? Also, last year the lights stopped around the end of October. Since it is good weather for outdoor tennis till mid-December, will it be possible to extend the days for tennis court lighting? Thanks! - Bipin

Adjusted the timer for the tennis court lights back to 7:45pm and answered the question in regards to the length of the season and usage of lights is weather dependent.

Hi Bipin- Thank you for you uReport. The timer for the lights at Winslow tennis courts is now set to come on at 7:45pm. We usually turn the lights off for the season mid-October depending on weather conditions. The weather and the overall demand has historically dictated that turning them off at a weather downturn mid-October or later is the best practice from an energy and life of bulb standpoint. To have the lights go longer in the year, particularly well into December, would have an overwhelming number of inclement nights and low demand times. Hope this information is helpful. Paula
