Evaluations of speed, traffic volume, crashes and line of sight were done for this intersection. The evaluation information prompted city traffic engineers to switch the stop control at this intersection from Grant to 9th st. The evaluation results and suggestion by staff was taken before the traffic commission who passed the motion to switch stop control. The city traffic engineer signed a 90 day order to make the proposed changes at this intersection. The constituent was informed of our evaluation findings via email(s)and phone call(s), she attended the traffic commission meeting to share her complaints and made aware of the pending updates for the intersection at that time. 90 day orders have been signed and the case is now closed

The decision was made to switch stop control to 9th st. and switch on-street parking on 9th st from the west side to east side for half a block south of 10th st. 90 day orders are to be issued for this change.
