this is a function of the Monroe County Health Dept. Vector control officer. We looked for trash or other areas that we could address under Title 6 or Title 16. We did not find anything.

The original complainant called again on 10/3/2016 to say that she has found another property in the neighborhood that has holes. She said she would get the address and call back. I have not heard from her.

I visited this site on Friday, 9/30/2016 with Dee Wills. We did not see any rats, or any areas we could write a NOV for. I spoke to the complainant again. She feels that we should have a plan in place to address this type of situation. I re-iterated that this is a function of the Health Department. I told her she could address her concerns and ideas to the City Council and the Mayor's office.

Animal Care and Control is not equipped to handle vermin infestations. This falls upon the homeowner. Spoke with HAND department. They are aware of the situation and working with complainant.
