Street Lights:

Other: Traffic on Bloomfield Road (2nd Street) is backed up for about a mile heading out of town (traffic backed up past Landmark) & a half-mile coming in to town (backed up to 37), all waiting on the light at the Sportsplex/apartment complex The traffic light is only giving people on Bloomfield road about 5-10 seconds to get through the light, while the green light for people exiting the Sportsplex lasts about 30-40 seconds - but there's nobody going in or out of the Sportsplex! Could somebody PLEASE take a look at the program/timing of this traffic light?

fyi - we think we found what was causing the backups at that particular time of day. Our crews adjusted the timing settings and we'll be taking another look shortly to see whether further improvements are possible. We know that this will always be a busy intersection, but thank you for pointing out this particular issue. Please feel free to let me know if you notice similar problems in the future (particularly if it appears the side street approach is receiving an unusual portion of green time compared to Bloomfield). Thanks again,

Shawn, thank you for submitting this uReport regarding the traffic signal on Bloomfield Rd at the Twin Lakes Recreation Center. Can you tell me when you observed this operation? Day of the week and time of day would be helpful.
