I followed up (via email) with a representative of Bike Project about installing more bike racks. There is no space right now within the public right-of-way where we can easily install bicycle racks. The Bike Project can install bicycle racks on their property, that is fine. I am also looking into using street space for an on-street bicycle corral. That is a separate issue. I told Bike Project we can discuss, but for the purposes of this ticket, I answered their question. We'll continue a longer-term discussion about the on-street corral.

Hi Bike Project, Currently, there are not spaces next to the Bike Project where we can add bike racks. I contacted Parks and Rec to ask about next to the B-Line, but mostly, the property you all lease, the project line goes right to the sidewalk and the B-Line, thus leaving no space on public property to locate racks. A longer-term prospect: I'm looking into doing an on-street bike parking corral--like in front of the Bakehouse, Uptown, Soma, Kingdough. I think on-street parking at this location would make sense.
