Bloomington Parks and Recreation is not currently accepting applications for the Adopt-a-Trail program, so the form used to sign up for the program was listed as "closed." I re-worded the closed form message to communicate that the Department is not accepting applications (including contact info for our volunteer coordinator who can answer questions about the program), and changed the verbiage on the Web site to also reflect that we will begin accepting applications in fall 2017. I e-mailed the constituent directly and provided an alternative program, Adopt-a-Stream, along with links to the Adopt-a-Stream signup form and the online list of volunteer opportunities.
