I had our city Engineer look at your request for curb in front of your house, I also asked Phil Peden Utilities Engineer to give his opinion on the matter, collectively we decided it would cause the water to pool in front of and behind the curb. You are able to landscape at edge of blacktop to try to prevent further damage.
Thank you

Adam, you may want to pass this one along to Parks, but I don't believe it is a drainage issue. Its more of an issue with people parking in her front yard to access the park nearby.

I sent Mindy an email explaining that I thought it was more of Parks/DPW issue with people parking in the grass when visiting the city park. I'm checking with her too see if she'd rather have that area paved, and will most likely reassign this case to DPW as there is no stormwater issue.

Sent Ms. Metzcar the following:
Thank you for taking the time to submit a uReport requesting a curb be extended in front of your home on the Longview cul-de-sac. Typically curb is installed to assist with with storm water management. As such, I'll forward your request to the City of Bloomington Utilities Department (CBU) as they are responsible for storm water related issues. In instances where curb is not present I've seen people utilize alternative measures such as landscaping to address concerns with people parking vehicles off of the road and in the grass in front of their properties.
Please let me know if you have any additional comments or questions. If there is a pothole that needs to be addressed, please let me know and I'll pass that on to the City's Street Department.

Installing a curb front of property would increase water problem. Andrew can you look into this concern?
