I recognize that this intersection would benefit from some pedestrian enhancements and I'm happy to report we are in the process of reviewing the design of the Patterson Pointe development. As a part of that project's approval the developer is responsible for installing ramps, crosswalks, pedestrian push buttons, and pedestrian countdown signal heads for crossings across all four of the intersection's legs. We are also working with them to tighten the intersection corners where possible to decrease the pedestrian crossing distance and promote slower vehicular turning speeds.
