Currently no ordinance violations evident. Will continue to patrol the area.
Other: My neighbors at 2705 S. Olcott Blvd let out their two dogs to roam their front yard 3 or 4 times per day. I walk my dogs, as do my neighbors who have dogs. With the animals in the front yard, without leashes, it means those walking have to cross the street to avoid the dogs. This is not a problem, except at night. I watch out for the dogs, in order to avoid them, but lately the dogs are let out their front door just as I get the middle of their yard and the dogs come racing at me and my dog, barking and frightening. Besides, the issue of taking over that side of the street, these dogs bark the entire time they're outside, seems anything or anyone can set them off. This can be at 10:00pm and go on. I don't know what to do, because they are not friendly. I need your advice as to how to deal with this neighborhood problem. Thank you for whatever help you can give me.

Phoned. Dogs are not leaving property. Informed about ordinances. Does not appear to be any violations at this time. Will send officer to chat with owners of dogs and verify that there is some sort of containment.
