City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #158197

Parks & Playgrounds:

Other: While walking my dog in lower cascade park yesterday, I noticed parking lots were full and people were parking in grass area since most of the parking spaces are blocked off. It is unusually warm this year so it may be a good idea to open up the parking lots early this year.

We place barricades in many city park parking areas to reduce snow removal costs and in the case of Lower Cascades which has permeable paver block surface, to keep road sand and debris out of that parking lot. With the arrival of warmer weather the barricades will be removed by the end of this month.
