Other: My residence is located at 724 S. Washington ST. Two years November the Street Department performed pipe work in the middle of the street in a 2 to 4 block section. At the conclusion of the project the section of street was patched. Since then the section has been re-patched and re-patched. My concern is one of safety. S. Washington is a main thoroughfare for the Police Department traveling at high rates of speed. Loose gravel is sprayed every time cars drive through the area. This is also a highly used street for cyclists who commute to IU and other locations. The loose gravel from the re-patching creates unsafe pbike travel. Lastly, this section of street is unsightly. The bike lane lanes and curbs are unpainted and the patch work is broken and pot holed. I would certainly appreciate it if the City of Bloomington Street Department would take a close look this Spring at a more permanent surfacing of this section of street. Thank you!
