Other: I often walk home from classes at Indiana University after dark. There are a few lights between N Dunn and N Grant along east bound 10th street that will consistently go out during my walk home. I would greatly appreciate someone looking into why they go out in that small section. It would greatly improve my visibility during my walk, as well as improve my sense of security. Reported outages to Duke Energy and notified the citizen.
Ms. Shope, Thank you for reporting the street light outages on the south side of E. 10th Street between N. Grant Street and N. Dunn Street. These lights are leased through Duke Energy with the City paying for the installation and energy usage costs with Duke providing the maintenance services. I have reported 4 lights that are cycling on and off on your behalf. Duke will dispatch a crew to the location to determine the source of the outage. Again, thanks and have a great day, Christina
