Other: Is there any grant, funds to update neighborhood street lights? Our neighborhood was built in 1969 and the lights need to be updated. We would love to see the LED lights.

Informed the citizen that the City will be looking into a potential LED conversion program with Duke Energy. I have placed her address on our department conversion request list for future consideration.

Ms. McNabb, Thank you for inquiring about LED replacement lights in your neighborhood. These lights are leased through Duke Energy and it's has been their past practice to only replace lights if they are structurally unsound. However, we are looking into the possibility of partnering with Duke Energy on a comprehensive conversion program to LED lights. We are just getting started so I do not have a timeline for you at this time. I have placed your area on the conversion list. In regards to grant opportunities, I am not aware of any at this time. Best, Christina
