I contacted Penny Caudill, Monroe County Health Department, and informed her that CBU does not have regulatory authority over this type of action in the reported circumstance. I asked her if the MCHD responded to or regulated this type of action, or if I should report it to IDEM to address. She stated that since the complaint alleged the diesel fuel went to the stream, she would prefer it be reported to IDEM. I contacted the IDEM Spill Line and they forwarded me to the IDEM complaint coordinator. I notified them of the complaint and they stated they may or may not look into it further. No further action needed from CBU.
