As you may have noticed, all of the City's signals were retimed relatively recently. As a part of that effort, the protected left turn phases turning from Fee onto 17th were removed. Our consultant determined that due to relatively low left turn volumes the signal would operate more efficiently without a protected phase. Left turns should now proceed with the green light (permitted phase) after yielding to all oncoming traffic. If you have concerns, have experienced problems at this intersection, or would otherwise like to discuss further then please feel free to give me a call.
