https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=161265 Neil Kopper followed up on this ticket Neil sent email to constituent: thank you for submitting this uReport regarding the traffic signal at the intersection of 17th and Fee. The signal timing along 17th Street was updated roughly a year ago. As a part of that effort, the protected left turn phases turning from Fee onto 17th were removed. The City's consultant determined that due to relatively low left turn volumes the signal would operate more efficiently without a protected phase. Left turns should now proceed with the green light (permitted phase) after yielding to all oncoming traffic. If you have concerns, have experienced problems at this intersection, or would otherwise like to discuss further then please feel free to give me a call.
