City Sanitation, nor City Parks, has the available staffing to separate out recyclables from landfill trash. "Contamination" remains an ongoing problem with City supplied trash receptacles at all locations; regardless of whether recycling containers are placed or not. Bryan Park remains a trial location, and City Sanitation has advised that this trial container is frequently contaminated with landfill trash even with instructions for receptacle use clear delineated. Switchyard Park will have separated waste stream land dill and recyclable containers.
