Other: Yard Waste- what are we supposed to do with yard waste now? The website needs to be updated. There is no current information on the new system and we bought our house without being given any information about the new program.

Most tickets of this type should be closed within 2 days, although some cases may be longer. 0 days have already passed.

We are in the process of updating the information on the site now that the new system is in place. Currently, information can be found: https://bloomington.in.gov/sanitation/modernization/faq Specifically: How will yard waste collection work under the new system? Yard waste will continue to be collected every other week, just like it is now. However, yard waste will no longer require using a sticker. Billing for yard waste will now be added to the customer’s utility bill through the City's billing software system. Receptacles up to 35 gallons and paper bags can still be used at the same $1.00 per bag or container fee. Continue to use the same protocols you've used in the past: sticks bundled 48 inches by 24 inches or less, yard waste (leaves, grass clippings) in paper bags or 35 gallon waste containers (no plastic bags). Please note that yard waste can be placed at the curb without placing a trash or recycle cart.
