Parking Enforcement must follow the city ordinances. Besides, yellows are placed due to hazardous situations. If you park on a yellow, you will get a ticket.
Other: I got a ticket today for having my car parked in the yellow again. this is the second time this has happened. When every spot on the street is full, partly by people without permits (which I have), where am I supposed to park? this has been an ongoing issue for me and my roommates and I sincerely hope there is something you can do to help with this. There's been a multitude of nights where one of us comes home at night and there is absolutely nowhere to park, then when we get up in the morning to move our cars we end up already having tickets. I'd really like it if there was more leeway on this for people who paid to be able to park on the street. Thanks, Travis Johnson.
