I spoke with this person on the phone on Tuesday, January 2. I explained why in this particular instance we elected to use the media in issuing the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory. I also explained the difference between a Precautionary and Mandatory Boil Water Advisory and the different protocol that is followed in each case.
