Sewer Problems (Sanitary Sewers):

Other: I just have a question. I live at 214 E Hillside. There have been crews there the last 2 nights working on sewers. Last night we got a strong adhesive type smell in the house while they were working. We realized it was coming from an old kitchen drain that wasn't capped. I'm just curious what we were smelling. We've aired the house out, and I plan on properly capping the unused drain, but I want to make sure we weren't exposed to anything harmful. We asked a worker and he said it wasn't harmful, but can you please explain what that smell was. We're also curious if you'll be working on hillside all week.

Left a voicemail explaining that the odor is harmless and that MSDS sheets are available.
