Other: I purchased a golf membership at Cascades on 7/24/2017. I am very upset with a few things. One, they did not inform me that 1/3 of the course was going to be closed for 18 months. Secondly, many people play golf in the winter, and they have been closed on many playable days. I have played the last 2 Sundays at Rolling Meadows, and Cascades has been closed both days. I feel like I got ripped off buying this membership, and want to cancel it with some kind of partial refund. Please email me with a response to this.

Dear Roger- Thank you for sending in your uReport. The Cascades Golf Course will not be closing for 18 months. In fact we are excited to be planning the construction of a new clubhouse in 2018 and operations will continue during construction. We started the installation of Meyer Zoysia grass on the Ridge Course last fall. Over the course of 2018 and 2019 all three courses will have Zoysia installed. The plan is to have at least 18 if not all 27 holes open for play during this time. Staff will have updated information for golfers throughout this time. The course was not open yesterday, Feb. 25th due to standing water conditions after so many days of rain. The course is open today. If you would like to check conditions before you head over to play staff can be reached at 812-349-3764. Please let me know if you have any other concerns. Thank you.
