City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #164464

Other:

Other: I just recently moved from Bloomington to Nashville, IN. I was wondering why the city doesn't recognize that it has one of the most popular bluegrass artists living in town? 2 time International Bluegrass Association vocalist nominee and probably the only artist in town signed to a major record label. I was talking to her this week and she said she never gets booked in her own hometown. I think it's shameful that a city doesn't recognize when it has someone famous in it's mist. She is known in the bluegrass world as the first lady of Indiana bluegrass. Maybe look her up. Her name is Kim Robins.
