Other: I parked at a parking meter on 6th street at the north end of the justice building just after 1:00 p.m. today, 5/22/18. I did not have any coins so I attempted to pay with my debit card. I inserted my debit card three separate times and was never able to use it to pay; the screen giving me option to increase time never appeared and instead I was only getting the screen showing rates. My maroon Suzuki Vitara is still parked in this spot. I wanted to send this message to report a non-functional meter and to cover myself in the event I find a ticket on my car later today when I leave the justice building.
Will send a meter technician to check this out, card reader working earlier in the day.
