Utilities Construction:

Other: Hello, There has been utilities construction going on by our apartment for over a month now. We understand that there is a lot of noise that comes along with it, especially since they have to break through multiple feet of rock to be able to place new sewer lines. We have been understanding in the last few weeks as rock hammering began at 7AM and went on through 5PM Monday-Friday. Even as this construction extended to Saturdays as well. As of last night however, the construction went on all night long. I am guessing that since this is a city run construction project that the noise ordinance was overlooked, however with the continued rock hammering this is unacceptable. It is disruptive and prevented us from sleeping through the night (which is especially impressive given that we have grown accustomed to the street noise typical of living on Walnut Street). Again, we get that this is an important project and that there is a lot of noise that comes along with that. However work through the night cannot continue. Sincerely, Brandon Fricke

Mr. Fricke did not leave a phone number for me to contact him. However, I was able to get a message to him(with the assistance of his landlord) regarding the Board of Public Works meeting occurring on today's date where he could express his concerns.
