Biking & Walking:

Other: DO NOT MAKE MAJOR ARTERIES TWO WAY!!!!! That proposal is insane. The people that proposed it don't live here and clearly never have traveled Walnut and College when trucks are blocking two of the three lanes. Atwater and third also should not be changed as Third is a parade of buses and the only lane able to be traveled is the left one. I hope you don't pay the Toole people. Those suggestions are not feasible and will make going downtown something no one will do any more. Insanity!

Hello Mr. Houff, Thank you for your UReport comment. There are no immediate plans to restore two-way travel on our streets at this time. The Transportation Plan recommends conducting corridor studies for College/Walnut and Atwater/3rd Streets. Any plans for the corridors will address loading zones as well as prioritize safety for all users. Thank you for your comment.
