I'm sorry to hear that you've observed increased speeding on these streets. My understanding is that the full intersection closures at Walnut St Pike should be reopened by the end of this month. At this time the City does not plan to install temporary traffic calming within the neighborhood. I will be investigating whether we can deploy a mobile speed-reader. The speed reader displays the speed a driver is travelling and flashes when they are above the posted speed limit (we have found these to provide effective speed control for short time periods.
