Other: The intersection on the 46 bypass where stonelake rd and monroe street cross. The entrance to Arlington heights elementary. This is such a crazy dangerous intersection. I have seen so many close calls and have been in several of them my self while trying to get in and out from taking my kids to school. It scares me! Traffic has definitely picked up over the last year with all of the construction and other access roads to 37 being closed due to 69. I feel a stoplight would be extremely beneficial at this location. Maybe remove the bumps in the Middle Lane (that desperately needs cleaned up because it is full of trash and looks horrendous) and then it can be used as that extra turn lane like it is used down the road in ellettsville. Just a couple suggestions but I really think for the safety of the school children and everyone else something needs done here. Thank you for your time!!
This intersection is under the control of the Indiana Department of Transportation and is scheduled for major upgrades in 2020.
