I am uncertain if the County Health Department may have additional guidance, but that is another resource worth consulting.

Title 6 does not address working on an animal as an inherent violation. However, if the carcass is left outside on the lawn for instance it may constitute garbage and be a violation of Title 6. Should clean-up not occur, you are welcome to contact our office at 812-349-3420. If you have not addressed your concern with your neighbor and feel uncomfortable doing so, community resources, including but not limited to, the Community Justice and Mediation Center 812-336-8677 may be able to assist you with a mediated discussion.
