Sediment was being deposited into the creek, but was caused by a potable water main break in the area. We conducted two site investigations over the past two days to confirm the source.

The creek was inspected today (1/11). It was determined the sediment was coming from a potable water main break that occurred in the early morning of Thursday and continued until mid day.

Investigated the site and found a part in the creek bed where the turbidity started. We are going to investigate tomorrow on the west side of 1315 High St. There was a main break in that area today that may have been the cause, but before we mark it as that we will investigate further tomorrow.
