Web Form: To whom it may concern, I am a physically active resident of Bloomington, however have been spooked quite a few times as a result of the lack of street lights. The attached picture was taken at 5:30 pm on the west side of Bryan Park as I was walking towards campus to meet my husband for dinner. Is it possible for additional Street lights top be placed along Henderson Dr. to allow residents sick add myself top go running in the early morning and the later evening hours?
I have placed the additional lighting request on DPW's worksheet for future consideration and have responded back to the constituent.

Henderson St between Davis and Dodds Street on our additional lighting request worksheet for future consideration. The City leases lights from Duke Energy and pays for the installation, energy usage and maintenance costs with Duke providing the maintenance services. Each year the Department of Public Works installs additional street lights based upon available funding. Best, Christina
