Thank you for requesting an additional street light along Wylie Farm Rd between Bayberry Dr and Azalea Ln. I have added the requested location to the lighting request worksheet for future consideration. Each year the Public Works Department leases street lights through Duke Energy and pays for the installation, energy usage and maintenance costs with Duke providing the maintenance services. based upon available funding. At this time, the request list is quite extensive but I will update you when this light will be moving forward in the process.
