Web Form: Noise violation. Car alarm going off for 3+ hours from 10:45PM to 2:15AM (and it is still going on) at parking lot for 605 Fess. Car license plate number IN 138QS. Charges should be filed against the car owner and landlord for disturbing the peace. My wife, daughter, and I are still awake. The police told us, after being here multiple times, that they can do nothing. This is a clear violation and is unacceptable.

Captain Oldham advised me that the SGT had provided correct information to the complainant the first time he spoke with them. There was no legal basis for the towing of the vehicle. Further, it was not occupied or within the control of the vehicle owner or the property owner at the time the alarm went off, as neither was present, so it would not meet BMC 14.09.030.
